Product update: Discount codes, Stripe payments, and more

Our product development team has recently released some exciting product updates related to payments, discount codes, user roles' and product flexibility.

Discount codes

One of the long-awaited updates that is finally out is discount codes. You can create both fixed-price and percentage-based discount codes and can define if they can be used for all products or only for specific products or categories. In the online store, customers can apply the discount code on the checkout page.
Discount codes are now in use for all Core plans, and you can create them under Products -> Discounts.

Store-based user roles

We now offer the option to set user roles based on the store location. This adds the ability for merchants with multiple stores to define which stores a user can access; all, multiple, or a single store, while admins are always provided with full access to all the stores. This way, the merchant can be sure that a user can only see and edit bookings and settings of a specific store. 

Stripe Payment is now available

In addition to our own payment service, Twice Payments, which offers both online payments and automated deposits, we are bringing selected third-party payment options as well. The first third-party payment provider is Stripe, which allows you to start accepting payments in a number of countries around the world which we cannot yet cater to.

In the Payments view, you can connect to Stripe with a few clicks and start accepting online payments immediately. To connect Twice with Stripe, you can use your existing Stripe account or create a new one in the connect flow.

Shared Products

Products that are available in multiple stores now show the label "Shared" in the product listing. These products can be edited only by users who have access to all the stores where the product is available. This makes it easier to see which products are used across multiple stores and makes it more understandable that the changes made will affect other stores as well.
